Questions
How much can I save with solar panels?
Savings vary based on energy usage and system size, but customers typically reduce bills by 50-90%. Federal tax credits and local incentives further lower costs.
What is the solar installation process?
The process includes a free assessment, system design, permitting, installation, and grid connection. We handle all paperwork and coordinate with utility companies.
Are there solar incentives available?
Yes! The 30% Federal Solar Tax Credit and state-specific programs like Duke Energy’s PowerPair rebate reduce upfront costs significantly.
How long do solar panels last?
Most panels last 25-30 years with minimal efficiency loss. We offer warranties and maintenance services to ensure long-term performance.
Can solar panels power my home during a blackout?
With battery storage, solar systems provide backup power during outages. Without batteries, systems typically shut down for safety reasons during grid failures.
Do I need a new roof before installing solar?
We assess roof condition during the consultation. If repairs or replacement are needed, we offer roofing services to ensure your roof supports solar panels for decades.
