We do solar PV better than anybody else in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine. Our commitment to your long term investment means that we use only American-manufactured solar panels, inverters, and balance of system components. We use only solar components from companies that are best of breed. This means that you can feel confident that your warranties will be backed up the entire time you own the system.
Your system is designed in-house by nationally certified NABCEP PV Installers assuring you of the safest zero-maintenance array that you can buy. We handle all of your paperwork for you - rebates, interconnection agreements, permits, fees, grants, SRECs, etc. You not only get the highest incentives available, but we make the process as easy and seamless as possible for you.
Our price is all inclusive - no extra charges for monitoring, permits, etc. Solar is the technology that can transform the lives of everyone in our nation and using only best practices of design and installation, we make sure it is done right for you.

George Horrocks, received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and has more than 35 years experience.
George has had a successful engineering career in a number of startup companies as Engineering Manager.
George is one of only a handful of NABCEP nationally-certified Solar PV Installers in the state of New Hampshire and has been the Principal Designer and Project Manager for over 500 solar photovoltaic projects - residential and commercial - totaling over 4000 KW and was responsible for the design, procurement, and project management of those projects.

How Solar Works
Report
Photons from sunlight excite electrons in a solar cell, causing electrical current to flow.
The Inverter then converts electricity from direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC) or house current.
Most systems are interconnected to the grid through your local utility.
A revenue grade production meter records everything that your system produces.
With Net Metering, your utility tracks both your electrical usage and the amount that your solar array produces.
You only pay the net difference between the two.

Basic Solar Components
Report
Originally patented as the "solar battery", solar cells, much like a battery, produce DC voltage.
Solar cells are constructed similar to integrated circuits with a silicon substrate and a dopant.
When sunlight strikes the cell, excited electrons cause current flow.
Cells are grouped together and a tempered glass is applied to the front, a backing plate to the rear, and an aluminium frame encloses the edge for support and mounting.
Solar modules are built to withstand the harshest environments.
Since there are no moving parts, they require vitrtually no maintenance.

The Federal Energy Tax Credit will reduce the total cost of your PV system design and installation by 30%.
With net metering, your local utility will also credit you each month for the electricity produced from the solar array at a rate equal to the rate that you are paying.
For months in which you produce more than you consume, your utility will carry forward your credit to be used against future bills.
For residential systems: The NH State Residential Energy Rebate will reduce the cost of your system by $0.75/W up to a maximum of $3,750.
